Patricia Cespedes-Schueller

Patricia Cespedes-Schueller

Patricia Cespedes-Schueller was born in Cusco, Peru and grew up living only a half a block from the main square. She attained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Universidad de San Antonio de Abad, in Cusco. After several years working at the Pastoral Andean Institute in Cusco, Patricia moved to Chicago in 1995 to study theology at Catholic Theological Union. After graduating with her Master’s Degree in Theology, Patrica worked with several communities in Chicago before moving to Minnesota in 2003 with her family to begin her work as the Director of Campus Ministry at the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota. In 2008 Patrica began her career as a Spanish immersion teacher in the St. Cloud school district and in 2012 Patricia transitioned to the Spanish immersion program in the Minnetonka school district where she currently is a first grade teacher. Patricia completed her Master’s degree in Education at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota in 2014.

 

Daniluz Schueller

Daniluz Schueller graduated from Minnetonka High School in June 2020 and is currently a senior at University of Wisconsin-Madison. She began her formal Spanish studies in first grade in the St. Cloud school district Spanish immersion program and in August of 2012 transferred to the Minnetonka school district Spanish immersion program. Complementing her formal Spanish studies, Daniluz has traveled to Spain, Guatemala, and multiple times to Cusco, Peru to visit her grandparents as well as her mother’s various family members and friends. These visits have taken her to various historical places in Peru including Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Lake Titicaca, Choquequirao, Nazca, Paracas, Lake Titicaca and Lima to name a few. In addition to her Spanish studies, Daniluz is also an avid musician. She began studying piano at age five and violin in the third grade. In high school she studied piano under Dr. James Chenevert and violin under Jean Marker DeVere and played violin with the Minnetonka High School Symphony. In the fall of 2020 Daniluz began her studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a double major in Global Health and Life Sciences Communication.

Marius Schueller

Marius Schueller graduated from Minnetonka High School in 2021 and is currently a junior at Vanderbilt University majoring in Computer Science. He began his formal Spanish studies in kindergarten in the St. Cloud school district Spanish immersion program and in August of 2012 transferred to the Minnetonka school district Spanish immersion program. Complementing his formal Spanish studies, Marius has traveled to Spain and multiple times to Cusco, Peru to visit his grandparents as well as his mother’s various family members and friends. These visits have taken him to various historical places in Peru including Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Choquequirao, Nazca, Paracas, Lake Titicaca and Lima to name a few. In addition to his Spanish studies, Marius is also an avid musician and ballet dancer. He began studying piano at age five and cello in first grade. Most recently he studied piano for six years under Dr. James Chenevert and cello under Darin Anderson for the past seven years. Cello accolades include performing with Minnesota Sinfonia in July 2019 at the Lake Harriet band shell. Marius began his ballet studies at age 5 in the Stroia Ballet Company and unitl covid hit in 2020 with the Ashley Ballet Arts Academy. He has performed in various ballets as well as in the annual performance of Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker”. Roles performed include Soldier Doll, Russian Dancer, Mouse King and the Nutcracker. Further interests of Marius include business and computer science. Marius enjoys writing apps and teaching computer programing.
